Yesterday we had a second meeting of our course. It is nice to see that all students have found a group and all groups have started working. I have updated the list of group members in the previous post.
You can read more about the scenario-based design from the following book chapter (Rosson_&_Carroll_2002.pdf in Dropbox):
Rosson, M. B., & Carroll, J. M. (2002). Scenario-Based Design. In J. A. Jacko & A. Sears (Eds.), The Human-Computer Interaction Handbook: Fundamentals, Evolving Technologies and Emerging Applications (pp. 1032–1050). Mahwah, NJ: Lawrence Erlbaum Associates.
You can find links to some scenarios from real projects in the scenario-based design page under the learning resources.
There are 3 group assignments and 1 individual assignment that you should complete before our next meeting:
- GA 2.1 Writing scenarios (deadline: 15.02.2015)
- GA 2.2 Scenario-based design session (deadline: 22.02.2015)
- GA 2.3 Concept mapping (deadline: 22.02.2015)
- IA 1 Commenting the scenarios (deadline: 22.02.2015)
I will be out of office until 23.02. I will give feedback to your scenarios and answer any e-mails after that date.
